Auteur Tsui Hark (A Chinese Ghost Story, Time and Tide) lives up to his reputation as the Steven Spielberg of Hong Kong with another much-awaited installment to his classic series Once Upon a Time in China.
Legendary kung fu master Huang Fei Hong (Wong Fei-hung) (Jet Li, Lethal Weapon 4, Romeo Must Die, Kiss Of The Dragon) has to fight battles on two fronts as he is forced into the Empress-sponsored Lion Dance Competition while having to battle a new suitor who comes wooing Aunt Yee (Rosamund Kwan).
At the instigation of the Empress and her lackeys, the stage is set for a face-off between Huang and his skilled opponenet (Xiong Xin Xin, Brotherhood Of The Wolf) whose shadowless kicks are lethal and a force to contend with.
Don't miss the classic scene where Huang fights off hundreds of swordsmen using just his jacket, and the final climactic and enthralling Lion Dance.
