Ling-Kit Ho, a student in Tin Shui Wai, works very hard to get away from this besieged city. He has been brought up in a defunct family--a mentally ill mother, a violent father, with a younger brother, Chun-Kit, who has left home for years. One day the police inform that Chun-Kit is being accused of murder. He is in a coma after failure in committing suicide. Though Ling-Kit has never been involved in any triad matters, a young gangster head, Billy, confronts him to hand over the stocks (drugs) which was kept by Chun-Kit before. To find out where the stocks are, Ling-Kit decides to get into the core of the young gangsters in Tin Shui Wai whom Chun-Kit used to get along with. However, before reading the answer he truly wants, he is being exposed to the dreadful life Chun-Kit went through in those days he was home away.
