In 1938, Wong Chia Chi joins a patriotic drama society in university. The members decide to carry out a radical and ambitious plan to assassinate a top and libidinous Japanese collaborator, Mr. Yee. Wong pretends to be Mrs. Mak, who seduces and gains Yee's trust by befriending his wife. Wong transforms herself utterly inside and out, and she approaches even closer and closer to her dangerous prey, she finds her very identity being pushed to the limit...
